Two Stranded Basket Weaving with Natural Fibers with Kirrily Jordan Saturday 22 June 9am- 1pm
Some of the most beautiful baskets can be made with the abundance of natural fibres that surround us. They’re perfect for two-strand twining, the ancient art used all over the world to create everything from durable carriers to intricate patterned weaves. In this workshop you’ll learn the basics and make a gorgeous miniature twined basket to keep.
Kirrily is an artist working across basketry and textiles and has delivered award-winning creative workshops since 2018. She promotes the role of art in wellbeing, envisaging a world where people are grounded in themselves, deeply connected, and kind to each other.
