Central Craft has one full-time staff member, the Director, and one part-time casual staff member, an Administration Assistant. Additionally, an external bookkeeper collaborates closely with the Administration Assistant.

Central Craft is a non-profit association incorporated under the NT Associations Act. It is governed by a volunteer Management Committee of 5 wonderful, enthusiastic and dedicated members who are elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting.

All the members of the Board are crafts people. In addition, each member brings either corporate knowledge, governance or management experience or strong stakeholder relationships. The Committee seeks to provide strong governance in line with their compliance, legal and financial responsibilities while also ensuring the voice of the membership is heard. 

 

Our Volunteers

As a members-based organisation - a collective - Central Craft would not be where it is, without the amazing members who volunteer their time, care and expertise to keeping our amazing space and community thriving. There are a considerable number of volunteers who staff and maintain the Central Craft Shop and carry out other essential tasks throughout our studio, archives, library and during workshops and events.
