FOB-Key (Deposit)

This page is for members who have purchased After-Hours Access as part of their Central Craft membership and now need to pay the refundable FOB key deposit.

 

Before You Purchase:

• You must have a current Central Craft membership with After-Hours Access included (Individual, Concession, or Family).
• You must complete a Studio Induction before your FOB key will be issued.
• Only one FOB key per family or membership is issued unless approved by Central Craft staff.

 

Refundable Deposit

• The FOB key requires a $50 deposit, refundable when the key is returned in working condition.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of return confirmation.

 

Lost or Broken FOB Keys

• Lost or damaged FOB keys will not be refunded.
• A replacement key may be issued at the discretion of Central Craft staff, with a new $50 deposit required.

 

Conditions of Use

• FOB keys are for the registered member’s use only and must not be shared.
• Members must only access the studios during permitted after-hours times.
• Central Craft reserves the right to revoke after-hours access if the FOB is misused or membership terms are breached.

 

Respectful Use & Community Care

FOB keys are issued to individual members (or families) and must not be used to let non-members into the studio — even if they’re just “popping in.”

We know it can be tempting to share the space with friends or family, but our after-hours system is based on trust, and this kind of access is only safe and sustainable when used responsibly.

By encouraging others to sign up for their own membership, you’re helping grow our creative community the right way — safely, respectfully, and with shared accountability.

Our membership fees are incredibly reasonable, and every dollar helps keep the doors open, the tools maintained, and the programs running for everyone. Let’s keep building a strong, supported craft community — together.
