The board is thrilled to welcome Zoë Blow as the new Director of Central Craft and introduce her to our members and community.
With a rich background in arts management, community engagement, and education, Zoë brings a deep commitment to fostering inclusive and creative communities. We are so excited to have Zoë on board and are looking forward to Central Craft's next chapter.
Originally from Naarm/Melbourne, Zoë moved to Mparntwe/Alice Springs in 2024, drawn to its vibrant arts scene and natural landscape. She focuses on fostering creativity through care, connection, and sustainability, especially for those facing barriers to artistic participation.
She’s worked across artist management, workshop facilitation, festivals, artist-run spaces, and universities (just to name a few!), supporting local & emerging artists and diverse audiences.
She started out her career in design, advertising and commercial galleries, shifting toward a craft practice and grassroots arts initiatives, launching Council Street Life Drawing and sustainable craft workshops. In 2022, she founded Nabe Studios, a community-driven arts space offering studios, a gallery, and events.
She’s a keen drawer, collager, writer, textile enthusiast, and a passionate advocate for sustainable arts careers and social accessibility in the arts.
