EXHIBIT25 - June Marriott Gallery Program
The June Marriott Gallery Program aims to :
- Support the presentation of new work by local established, emerging and community makers
- Build the visibility of contemporary craft from the Northern Territory
- Exhibit high quality craft to local, regional and international audiences
- Engage and educate individuals and groups in craft and design practice
- Enhance cross-cultural partnerships that create opportunities for innovation in craft practice
Applications will be assessed on:
- Providing a wide variety of makers throughout the year (established, emerging and community)
- Exhibitions that consider the location and context
- Artistic merit and innovation
- The Director reserves the right to make the final decision about what is exhibited
Cost:
- Exhibition length - typically 17 days open on Thursday 6pm, close Sat 2pm, across 3 weekends.
- Gallery Hire $15 /$30 per day (Member/ Non) plus 1 day set up (18 days = $270 for Members)
- Insurance $2.50 / $5 per day (Member/ Non) (18 days = $45 for Members)
- 35% commission fee on sales (or 25% for active volunteer - 4hrs /month)
We provide:
- Digital promotion of exhibition through our website, social media platforms, e-Newsletter and other online resources
- Design & supply of promotional assets - Sq format (Insta/FBook), A4/A3 poster (10 x prints), 3 x A3 A frame signs, A3 interpretation poster x1, please supply all necessary logos.
- Plinths, hanging system, list of works / sales list (these must be provided within 3 days of opening)
- Professional installation guidance, the artist is responsible for hanging but we can support
- Coordination of artwork sales at the opening and during shop hours (Mon-Fri 10am to 2pm)

- WHO: Your current CV - please include any exhibitions you have been in
- WHAT: Nature of work to be exhibited (Artist Statement + 10 images max)
- WHEN: Your preferred dates, note this isn’t always possible, but we will try
- WHAT ELSE: Would you be willing to do an artist talk
