Hello friends and supporters,
We've recently submitted our 5 year funding application with Arts NT - we've been working with the committee for the past year on the Central Craft Strategic Plan, Business Plan, Policies and Procedures all of which go towards building a strong application. We've just finished Mosaic digital archiving training which was funded through the Museum collection grant and we welcome Jo Foster who will be working with us on this project to record our acquisition collection.
Update on the kitchen renovations: we've had Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics in and it looks like the work will start soon. This is an exciting development and we all look forward to being able to have more than one person in the kitchen at a time.
The end of year is near and you're all invited to attend A Bush Christmas exhibition opening Saturday 16th November 2.00pm in the June Marriott Gallery this will be the last exhibition for 2019. We'd once again like to thank Amelia, Jude, Marilyn and their team of volunteers for their efforts.
Real to Reel: The Craft Film Festival an international selection of short films, produced by the UK’s Crafts Council and Crafts magazine, is an eclectic program that explores our relationship with materials and making, and celebrates craft in all its facets. 6.30pm Friday 29th November at Alice Springs Cinema tickets available here thanks to Maker & Smith for bringing this film to Australia. A unique film festival originating in the UK dedicated to craft and the moving image, giving a platform to a wealth of films that explore themes of making, makers, materials and process.

Every morning I tell my family that I'm going jogging, but then I don't. It's a running joke.
