Welcome to 2020 at Central Craft. We're excited to bring another program of workshops and exhibitions to Alice Springs.

Visual artist Christine Lines is visiting from the UK and doing a series of workshops around Australia. Her two day Abstract Approaches to Felt Collage workshop will be held at Central Craft 28 & 29 March book your place now.

Kitchen renovations - The Department of Infrastructure Planning and Logistics have promised us a new kitchen and the start date will be mid to late April. We'll keep everyone informed of progress and final dates of works via this newsletter, social media and notices in the studio. During the renovations the kitchen and toilet facilities will not be accessible to studio users.

In February and March we will exhibit the Alice Craft Acquisition Collection as we document and photograph all work for a digital archive. This is thanks to funding from Arts NT.

The 2020 members exhibition will open in the June Marriott Gallery in April so there's plenty of time to prepare. The theme is Black and White.

There are exhibition spaces open in the June Marriott Gallery in July and October. Please email expressions of interest.

Costume designers of Alice Springs - get making! Wearable Arts is back and will be held as part of Unbroken Land 2020, this year's theme is water. We're seeking expressions of interest in holding Wednesday night making sessions in the studio. Email us if you think you'd attend a weekly studio session.
