Studio

The Central Craft studio provides workspace for use by members. Facilities include a dye lab, ceramics studio (including wheels, slab roller and kiln), table and floor looms, spinning wheels, jewellery equipment, print press, print table, sewing machines, and wet areas. Non-members can hire the space for limited use or book into workshops. Central Craft has private studio spaces for hire. To apply for a studio space contact Central Craft.

Studio Groups

Lace and Spinning Group

Meets on the 2nd (10.00am—3.00pm) & 4th (1.00pm—3.00pm) Saturday of the month for anyone to come and join in. Facilitator: Virginia Garner.

Watercolour Group

Each Monday 10.00am – 1.00pm (except school holidays) Facilitator: Jude Mapleson FEE: $1 members; $3 non members includes tea & coffee. A get-together for like-minded people to sketch, paint, work together and inspire each other. No tuition given.

U3A Group

Each Wednesday 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Like-minded people bring together their crafts and ideas.

Every Tuesday night from 7.30pm—9.00pm in their clubrooms at Central Craft. Club membership costs $25/yr (family) with 3 initial visits for free. $4 fee for equipment use at each visit. Library available for use at the Clubrooms.

kNiT Club

1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the Month, 7pm - 9pm, Central Craft Studio. Run by Barbara McIlvain. If you would like to learn the knitting basics, how to read and interpret a pattern, or just to enjoy the company of others whilst stitching the night away, come along to the knit club. All skill levels welcome. FEE: Free for Central Craft members / $5.00 per session for non-members.

Central Craft Clay Group is a drop-in studio group only and is subject to availability of Central Craft members.
