Wrapt in Christmas is over for another year and what a weekend of fun and creativity it was. A huge thanks goes to Jules North, Central Craft Board Secretary and this year's Wrapt in Christmas coordinator.  Another big thanks to Greg from Araluen for fixing the air conditioning which decided to stop working just hours before kick off! Thanks also to Araluen for their in kind support. Volunteers that helped out with Wrapt in Christmas this year were Marilyn Hunter and Sarah Joyce.  A shout out to all the stall holders who turned out and everyone who came along to shop local and get into the Christmas spirit.

Bush Christmas in the June Marriott Gallery Central Craft. Thanks to the Bush Christmas crew Amelia, Jude and Marilyn and their amazing volunteers and school groups who put together the wonderful exhibition which has seen many school groups and tourists delighted. 
The exhibition runs until Sunday 16th

December. Central Craft Gift shop will close for Christmas. 16th December - 4th February. A members exhibition is planned to start off the year, so get creative over the summer months - the theme will be Contrasts.

Wearable Arts School Holiday Workshops at Alice Plaza.  Come and join in the frenzy of making, clipping, stamping, and sewing of every material imaginable to design costumes for this iconic Alice Springs event. Free artist run workshops program will weave their magic to inspire, problem solve and assist with designs every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday in January 2019 from 10-1pm at Alice Plaza.  Wearable Arts will be held 16th of March 2019 in the Todd Mall. Great prizes to be won! We're seeking a Producer to help us achieve the dream of Wearable Arts 2019, is this you?

End of year afternoon tea. The office will be closed from December to January and we'd like to farewell 2018 by bringing members together for an afternoon of thanks. There will be awards and announcements so come along and bring a plate of food to share.

Wednesday 12th of December 2pm onward in the Central Craft studio. If you need to access the studio over summer please come in during office hours to arrange a key and security induction. Security keys are a $50 deposit and are available to current members only.
